It’s a new month, so you know what that means: time to review last month’s recipes! August was full of yummy breakfast treats–continue below to read more!
In Case You Missed It
Blueberry Muffins
Makes 16 muffins| 30 minutes
Quick. Convenient. Classic.
In my opinion, blueberry muffins are the ultimate breakfast food. Combine them with the brown sugar cinnamon topping, you’ve got a muffin that won’t stick around long. Maybe it’s best to make a double batch?
Maple Bacon Donuts
Makes 8-10, depending on size | 2 hours, 30 minutes
Sweet. Salty. Fluffy.
If you’re one of those people who can decide between a sweet breakfast and a salty breakfast, this one’s for you. With maple syrup in the dough, in the frosting, and on the bacon, the saltiness of the bacon provides a taste combo that’s to die for.
From the Kitchen Floor
What makes baking fun? All the ways you get to be creative. What makes it not so fun? All the ways you can make messes. Take, for example, not knowing that the bag of brown sugar is already opened and you open the other end and get sugar all over the floor.
Oh well–I suppose that’s why they make brooms!
What’s Next
Fall is fast approaching, and you know way that means: fall flavors! Anyone up for some apple picking?
